SENSEI SOLFRID DANIELS 7th Dan

(SKF Joint Chief Instructor /  KSI International Referee) 

SKF National Kata & Kumite Coach

 

Sensei Solfrid Daniels was part of the SKF National squad from 1989 - 2006 where she was multiple Ladies World & European Individual & Team champion in both Kata & Kumite.

 

Sensei Solfrid was also the first ever KSI competitor to also win 4 gold in one KSI event in KSI World Championships in Germany 2000, where she was World champion in Ladies H/W Kumite, Ladies Kata, Team Kumite & Team Kata.


Since Sensei Solfrid retirement from competing activities, she has been coaching many World & European championship winning teams and individuals on the squad as one of the SKF main coaches.

 

She is also one of the top KSI International Referees in Kimura Shukokai today & SKF Joint Chief Instructor.


SENSEI CLEM BRAITHWAITE 7th DAN

(SKF Joint Chief Instructor / KSI International Referee)

 

Sensei Clem Briathwaite has been with the SKF since the start in 1980, and started with Shihan Daniels back in 1975 at the old Central HQ in Digbeth, Birmingham.

 

Sensei Braithwaite has been a former Shukokai World Lightweight Kumite champion and part of multiple winning Mens Team Kumite World & European winning teams. 

 

He represented the SKF National Team from 1980 - 2002 when he then went on to coach the SKF National Team from 2003.

 

Now Sensei Braithwaite is one of the top KSI International Referees in the World of Kimura Shukokai and is also SKF Joint Chief Instructor.


SENSEI KEITH COCKBURN 7th Dan

(SKF Senior Instructor / SKF Committee Member / KSI International Referee)

 

Sensei Keith Cockburn has been with the SKF since the start in 1980, and has been a loyal member ever since under the guidance of the late Shihan Daniels 9th Dan to this day.

 

Sensei Keith is highly experienced instructor and was a member of the SKF National Team for many many years during the 80s and 90s.

 

He is very highly regarded karateka within Kimura Shukokai International.

 

 


SENSEI AUDUN DANIELS 7th Dan

(SKF National Kata & Kumite Head Coach / Vice Team Captain / EKF & WKF Accredited Coach)

 

Sensei Audun Daniels has been a member of the SKF National squad since 1994 where he competed in his first World Championships in Kobe, Japan.

 

Since then he has won multiple World & European titles in both Kumite & Kata both individually and as a team member.

 

Sensei Audun is current KSI World & European champion in Kata, Kumite & Team Kata events.

 

Although Sensei Audun is still a major part of the SKF Squad as a competitor he plays a big role in the coaching of the SKF Squad in training and competition in both Kumite & Kata.

 

 


SENSEI PAUL RICHARDS 7th Dan

(SKF National Kumite Head Coach / Team Captain / EKF Accredited Coach)

 

Sensei Paul Richards has been a member of the SKF Squad since 1994 where he sucessfully won his first Shukokai World Kumite title in Kobe, Japan

 

Since then Sensei Richards has won a further 6 KSI World titles and 3 World KSI team titles, along with multiple European titles along with 6 KSI European Team Kumite championships.

 

Although Sensei Richards is still a major part of the SKF Squad as a competitor he plays a big role in the coaching of the SKF Squad in training and competition in Kumite.

 

Sensei Richards is also the current SKF Team Captain.

 


SENSEI PETER JELF 4th Dan

(SKF Assistant National Coach)

 

Sensei Peter Jelf has been a member of the SKF National Squad since 2004 where he gained his first international Silver in Cape Town, South Africa.

 

Since then Sensei Jelf has been a key member to the SKF National Team winning various Team Golds in both Kumite & Kata.

 

 Although Sensei Jelf is still a major part of the SKF Squad as a competitor he plays a big role in the coaching of the SKF Squad in training and competition in both Kumite & Kata, and is now appointed as SKF Assistant Squad.
